John Denise is a passionate entrepreneur and the founder of numerous companies including South Eastern Brewing, AAC Utility Partners, Advanced Aviation Consulting, and Advanced Automation Consulting, Inc.
Advanced Automation Consulting is an IT consulting and staffing firm that focuses on improving business results by leveraging better people and processes. AAC focuses on establishing a long-term partnership with their customers and employees and provides consulting services ranging from contract CIO services, Project Management, Custom Application Development, to Infrastructure Support. AAC’s clients include small companies, non-profit organizations, government agencies, and Fortune 500 companies. AAC graduated from the USC Columbia Technology Incubator in 2005 and was the first SC Launch company to pay back the SCRA investment with interest. With a South Carolina payroll exceeding $50 million since its founding in 2003, USC economists estimate AAC has had a $70 million impact on the midlands economy.
John grew up in the Washington DC suburbs of Northern Virginia, but fell in love with the Columbia area while attending the University of South Carolina where he earned B.S. degrees in Finance and Management with a concentration in Entrepreneurship. Outside of work John is very active in the community. He has been a Rotarian since he was 22, serves on several boards, supports a variety of charitable causes with a particular emphasis on children, and is a strong proponent of growing the knowledge economy as the cornerstone of the Columbia regions economic development activities.
