What does membership in AAF mean to you?
For many people being a part of an organization is a way to belong to or identify with a larger group of like-minded individuals. However, I feel as though being a part of the American Advertising Federation of the Midlands is so much more!
First and foremost, the people that make up the organization are an amazing group of advertising professionals from around the Midlands. What stands out to me is the diversity of our membership. Within our organization, you may find a range of professionals such as agency media buyers, public relations gurus, experienced media representatives, or genius creatives, who have all come together to learn from each other, to experience personal growth, to network, and to be inspired.
Whether you are in your first job out of college or you are the V.P. of Marketing for your organization, I can promise you that you will make rewarding connections within the AAF of the Midlands. We host excellent speakers at our monthly luncheons with backgrounds ranging from sports marketing, quick service branding, non-profits, social media, and more. There is literally something for everyone. This “working lunch” atmosphere allows you to network with other professionals within the local advertising industry while pushing yourself to get out of your comfort zone and grow. You will learn how to not only better yourself but also your clients.
I urge you to join the AAF of the Midlands today and attend one of our monthly luncheons. Or sign up to be a part of one of our volunteer committees.
