Deciphering the Culture Code
Cultural Marketing is about pulling back the proverbial curtain to reveal the nuances that trigger the emotional connections consumers have with brands. Brands that often become woven into the cultural fabric of a community. Memories, personal experiences, and even traditions become closely associated with these brands to the point that the brand becomes an important part of the memory itself. The lines separating marketing and anthropology often blur, and language which once was paramount to any multi-cultural strategy, now hardly reflects what’s truly at the core of a community.
