AAF of the Midlands Named 2013 National Club of the Year

COLUMBIA, S.C.—American Advertising Federation of the Midlands (AAF of the Midlands) has been named 2013 National Club of the Year for Division III of the American Advertising Federation.

Each year, the AAF honors top clubs in eight categories: advertising education, communications, diversity, government relations, club operations, membership, programs and public service. Additionally, a “club of the year” is chosen in each division. The clubs of the year are determined by the total score of their entries in the eight categories.

AAF of the Midlands placed in five categories as well as winning the National Club of the Year award for Division III:

  • Government relations – 3rd place
  • Public service – 2nd place
  • Diversity – 1st place
  • Advertising education – 1st place
  • Membership – 1st place

“This year our board worked hard to ensure our members had quality programs and that our club had a positive impact on our community, and I am proud to see them recognized for it,” said David Campbell, president of AAF of the Midlands.

AAF of the Midlands will be honored with these awards at the annual AdAmerica conference in June.
