COLUMBIA, S.C. – The American Advertising Federation (AAF) of The Midlands has announced they are accepting applications from nonprofit organizations to become the club’s public service client for 2016-2017. The Midlands chapter selects one nonprofit organization in our community and assists them with their marketing and advertising needs.
AAF of the Midlands selected Welvista to serve as public service candidate for 2015-2016 to benefit from a partnership in further promoting their services and offerings. Welvista works in conjunction with key healthcare industry partners in an effort to provide essential medications and pediatric dental services to individuals who are unlikely to get help because of their current environment. It was important for Welvista to generate further awareness among the Midlands on their mission to provide hope and wellness for the uninsured.
Together, they reviewed the goals of the business to determine the most beneficial communication initiatives and marketing platforms that would maximize reach to the target markets. Through establishing a segmented message framework and a cohesive brand platform, Welvista has further established its brand in new, exciting ways. Together, we created a comprehensive toolkit of resources that will help engage all audiences– advocates, philanthropists, media partners and patients. Additionally, we established a well-thought out, strategic plan for social media presence that provides the brand with new outlets aligned to the business goals. The experience has been rewarding on both ends– “As the best kept secret in the Midlands, we were thrilled to have a partner in AAF to help us strategically plan for and build the appropriate tools and materials that align to our overall communication plan,” Juanita Wright, CEO.
To qualify to become the next public service client applicants must be a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization in Richland or Lexington County. The deadline for proposals is Monday, April 25, 2016. Finalists will be notified and asked to make a 5-10 minute presentation to the AAF of the Midlands Board in early May 2016. The selected nonprofit will be notified shortly thereafter and announcement of the winner will be made at the May 2016 AAF of the Midlands monthly luncheon.
